Story
Friends,
I'm taking part in one of the biggest challenges there is... a Spartan Race!
I raced in the Atlanta Spartan 10k last year (2022) and was completely taken aback by its challenges. I’ve always stayed in pretty good shape growing up in sports. Last year's race was just a reminder that there is always someone better than you out there. I choose to take that as motivation. Not to try and beat anyone else but to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be.
Last year was a whirlwind of a year. My family and I found out that my great grandmother (Jacklyn Nottingham) was diagnosed with perineal cancer at the age of 90 years old! Unfortunately, we lost grandma in November 2022. She and so many others are why I am racing for the American Cancer Society this year. Grandma was blessed to live so many precious years without the burden of cancer and I know that’s not the case for many. Cancer doesn’t discriminate. It will take a precious baby or a sweet 90-year-old lady. Please join me in helping support the American Cancer Society.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a secure online donation and by posting a message of support. Any contribution small or large is greatly appreciated!
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly to my charity of choice and a tax receipt automatically issued to you.
Thanks so much for your support!
